The standout feature of this machine is its 3-chuck system. On standard 2-chuck machines, the final 20–30 centimeters of the pipe held in the chuck cannot be cut and ends up as scrap. With thick-walled and expensive profiles, this “tail waste” can cost you the price of a car by the end of the year. Thanks to the FLP 9036’s movable third chuck, you can process the pipe down to the very last millimeter. This reduces waste to zero, ensuring you get the full value of the raw material you’ve invested in.
No Sagging, No Shaking
Not every machine is capable of turning a massive pipe that’s 9 meters long and 360 mm (36 cm) in diameter. On standard machines, as the pipe rotates, it sags in the middle “like a banana,” wobbles, and the cutting dimensions become distorted. The FLP 9036, with its three-jaw design, grips the pipe firmly from the beginning, the middle, and the end. The material rotates smoothly, and the hole at the very end aligns perfectly with the hole at the very beginning. The machine handles H-beams and NPU steel—weighing several metric tons—with ease, ensuring your production runs smoothly.
