The Mekotek MKT 32135 Press Brake is the first and most essential machine that must be brought in when setting up a metalworking shop. No More “Banana Effect”: Motorized Bombing Technology
The biggest problem encountered when bending a 3.2-meter-long sheet is that the machine body flexes, causing the center of the part to protrude at a different angle than the edges (in a banana-shaped manner). On smaller machines, this can be corrected by hand, but it’s difficult with a 3-meter part. The Motorized Crowning system, which we offer as standard on the MKT 32135, solves this problem at its root. The CNC unit calculates how much deflection will occur based on the part you’re bending and automatically inflates the lower platen using motors. Your operator no longer needs to manually compress the paper or make adjustments; the thousandth part will come out just as perfectly as the first.
8-Ton Giant Chassis, Precision German Technology
With a body weighing 8,300 kg (8.3 metric tons), this machine stands firmly on the ground. It does not flex like lighter machines. It draws its power from the world-renowned Bosch Rexroth hydraulic system. As a result, the machine operates with the same precision whether it’s cold in the morning or warm in the evening. The Cybelec CybTouch 12 control unit allows your operator to sketch the part on the screen and automatically generates the bending sequence. With its Y1, Y2, X, and R-axis configuration and the DSP Laser Safety System, you can achieve both fast and safe production.
